10/21 at 8pm, 10/22 at 7pm, 10/25 2pm and 8pm, 10/26 at 8pm – Sand dance, hand dance, foot percussion, lyrical harmony singing, visual rhythm in architecture and design, virtuosic solos, dynamic ensemble works: BODY MUSIC is an international cast of seven contemporary and traditional performers, in a collaborative evening that showcases their virtuosity and cultural vibrance with themes that emanate from using only the human instrument to create complex, evocative music/dance. BODY MUSIC is a journey, from pinpoints of light, through large and small cycles of time, to community, passing on traditions, humor, celebration,loneliness; and the place of the human body in the cosmos, including our eternal quest to understand this relationship. Contrasting the intimate sonic capacity of the human body with adventurous technology in light and sound, BODY MUSIC reveals our shared humanity in a unique theatrical experience. BODY MUSIC showcased in 2015 at the El Sauzal Auditorium in TÉNÉRIFFE, Canary Islands; at Teatro Secci in TERNI, Italy; and in 2016 at Destiny Arts Center in OAKLAND, California, USA.
le 21/10 à 20h, le 22/10 à 19h, le 25/10 à 14h et à 20h , le 26/10 à 20h à la MAISON DES MÉTALLOS (dates complémentaires les 25 et 26/10) – Danse du sable, danse des mains, pieds percussifs, polyphonies, rythme visuel inspiré de l’architecture et du design, chorégraphies d’ensemble : BODY MUSIC réunit un casting international de sept artistes à la fois contemporains et encrés dans la tradition dans un spectacle collaboratif qui met en scène leur virtuosité et richesse culturelle. Les thématiques prennent leur source dans le fait de se servir uniquement du « corps –instrument » pour créer une danse et une musique complexe et évocatrice. BODY MUSIC est un voyage, du plus petit point de lumière à la communauté plus globale permettant d’explorer les thèmes de la transmission, de l’humour, de la célébration, de la solitude… Basé sur notre quête éternelle pour comprendre la place du corps humain dans le cosmos, le spectacle En contrastant les capacités sonores intimes avec de la technologie (vidéo) , BODY MUSIC nous révèle note humanité partagée par le biais d’une expérience théâtrale unique. Des étapes de création ont eu lieux en 2015 à l’Auditorium El Sauzal de TÉNÉRIFFE, Iles Canaries (Espagne) ; au Teatro Secci à TERNI en Italie ; et en 2016 au Destiny Arts Center à Oakland (Californie, USA).
